1. Massacre at Passage
Three strangers found themselves at the station at the behest of a mysterious letter from their benefactors.
Passengers on the platforms were irate while waiting for a delayed lightning rail train, but when it finally arrived at the platform, the carriage violently exploded, causing chaos, panic and death.
In the aftermath of this horror, an unknown group of humans dressed in black began mercilessly murdering innocent bystanders, and were soon accompanied by a group of warforged.
The unlikely trio sprang into action, saving many lives and eventually defeating the attackers and discovering a clue about a rendezvous location. As well as this, Varen managed to use his knowledge of elemental binding to stabilise the volatile elemental core of the lightning rail carriage, averting further disaster.
Once the station had been secured, Kalith d'Orien and his right-hand Varalis d'Medani arrived and discussed the tragedy with the party, and they took a brief respite.
The chase
Suddenly, a lightning rail mobilised from the maintenance area, 'The spirals', controlled by more of the cloaked humans, warforged, and what appeared to be their leader. Additionally, they had a human woman held captive, but she was narrowly rescued by Varen.
Kalith then desperately employed the party to chase after the lightning rail and recover the stolen artifact, promising reward and a favour from House Orien.
